Virtual Bahrain is a reading site. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not sell or share personal information.

What the server records

Like most websites, our web server keeps standard technical logs, such as the address of the page requested, the time, the browser type and the IP address. These logs are used to keep the site running, diagnose problems and protect it from abuse, and they are deleted on a regular cycle.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering the font files. Search queries you type are processed on our server to show results and are not stored in an account.

The contact form

The contact form on this site does not store or send what you type. If you want a reply, write to us by email; we use your email address only to answer you.

Links to other sites

Pages link to other websites, such as Wikimedia Commons for photo credits. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
